Phillip Walker Band @ Kalispell Eagles Hall in Kalispell, Friday November 26th.

Maui Sun Ocean Lotions and Sound Entertainment are proud to represent the return to the Flathead Valley, of Blues guitar legend- Phillip Walker and his 5 piece all-star band at the Eagles Hall in Kalispell, Friday evening, November 26.

Phillip Walker is coming back to Montana as one of his favorite stops on his annual nation-wide tour, between gigs in Europe, Asia and Austrailia.

Phillip hails from a great blues heritage with T-Bone Walker a cousin on one side of the family and Gatemouth Brown a cousin on the other side.

After Clinton Chenier bought Phillip his first guitar at age 18 in 1955 and got him playing in his band, Walker's career took off. Leading to numerous gigs with such legends as etta James, Fats Domino, Jimmy Reed, Lowell Fulsom and Little Richard as the lead guitar and background vocalist.

Guitar Magazine dubbed Phillip Walker "One of the most important blues guitarists living today!" While Robert Cray calls him one of "The major influences in my career!" With Cray's 1988 rendition of Walker's "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark" becoming his 1st platinum (million copies sold) album.

Now based in L.A. Phillip plays homage to his Lousiana and Texas swing blues roots with a backup band featuring former members of the Taj Mahal, Ray Charles, Big Joe Turner and Screamin Jay Hawkins bands.

Legends like Phillip Walker don't come around too often so dust off your dancin' shoes and prepare to bop till you drop, for this exclusive engagement in N.W. Montana.
