Blues Cruise - hey, how about a party boat with over 1,800 blues enthusiasts and over 50 booked shows where you can generally hear live acts any time between 10:30 am to sunrise.  This ship never sleeps.  a floating island of blues bands and blues lovers!  We attended the 2004, 2005 and both 2006 cruises and figured that within the first 24 hours we had seen more national blues acts then we would have in 24 months in Missoula.  For more information check out http://www.BluesCruise.com  But BEFORE you book please email us 'cuz it might help the cause.  2005 acts included: Taj Mahal, Dr John, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Little Charlie and the night cats, Tommy Castro, Shemekia Copeland, Phantom Blues band, Corey Harris, Bernard Allison and much, much more...  Next cruise sails in October, get in line now as it always sells out early.  Can you afford NOT to book?

Flathead Blues Society - Keep up with the blues news and events from around the Flathead area of western Montana

Blues Review magazine - Hey this is the best source I have found for keeping up with new CD reviews, current tours, blues festivals, and yes obituaries.  I Love their feature articles.

Living Blues magazine -the blues source for over 30 years.  From the heart of Blues Country, this publication is a product of the University of Mississippi; just straight from the roots.  They do CD reviews but their in depth articles are more to do with  Willie Cobbs, Little Willie Foster, Josh White rather than Joe Bonamassa, Indigenous, etc.

BluesVille: Satellite Blues radio.  Non-commercial, all blues radio programming.  $13/month.  How much are you paying for a newspaper subscription?  Hey what's more important 24-7 blues or the local boring news that you can find on the tube anyway?

The Blue Highway: About the most comprehensive blues information site on the net, make sure you check them out.

The Harp Depot - Harp Depot is a dealer in fine harmonicas made by Bushman, Suzuki, Hering, Lee Oskar, American Freedom Harps, BTI. A huge resource for tons of other related information as well.

Sometimes the best way to keep track of who is playing where is to subscribe to email lists for the record companies for any given artist.
Some of the record labels follow:

Alligator: a blues only recording company that provides monthly emails of tour schedules for all of their recording artists.

BlindPig: have tons of blues bands booked, check it out.
